That was an entertaining game and there were some really good performances.

Aside from Barry and Chukwuemeka, I was especially impressed with Raikhy and Kesler.

To be fair, the Albion also had one or two talented players as well - Fellows in particular.

Really felt a feel good factor watching that. Hopefully the  final will be played in front of fans. I would definitely try and get a ticket.

Bogarde, Raikhy, Kesler, Chukwuemeka, Barry... these kids could save us an absolute fortune. Or another way of looking at it, we can spend even bigger elsewhere in the squad.

Well done lads. That was a joy to watch. There's some serious talent starting to come through. The future is bright. The future is Claret and Blue. UTV.

Didn't see it unfortunately but sounds like an assured display.

Scousers quite impressed by our lads (you'd think they'd know already), said we're bigger physically than theirs and attack in numbers like Leeds.

Barry and Carney look like they’re close to the first team. They’re probably a good pre-season of bulking a bit and getting fitter away from being real assets. Can’t wait.

Revan and Young as well, add in Sinisalo, Aaron Ramsey, JPB, Archer, Dom Revan and Bridge and there's easily half a squad of teenagers at the club who look like they'll get careers in the top couple of leagues. They won't all make it everyone knows how rare it is for a big group to come through but to have so many that look like they might at the same time is very impressive.

Doesn't look like we're stopping either, with the new facilities and a scouting network thats setup to find players like Chrisene, Swinkels and Bogarde I think we're eventually where we should be with our approach to youth development.

The best bit is the entire network of scouts and coaches probably costs us £5-6m a year and there's already players in there worth more than that on their own so it's likely to be self-funded even if we only get 1-2 a year that make the first team squad.

Fabulous game and result. I thought Raikey was excellent but we can be proud of them all. It been an absolute joy to watch the Villa this season despite our relatively poor form since Christmas. A Youth Cup Final appearance is the icing on the cake

The first game of the league cup could be really interesting, I can see 5-6 of this lot getting a game in that, Chuks, Barry and Kesler are all definitely going to be involved with the seniors next year (unless they're loaned out for extra games).

Louie Barry looks good but I think a loan would be better for his long term development. He still looks very small/young and I think it is better for him to be toughened up at another club where his awareness is above their level so he can continue to improve.

Chuffed for the players, it would be fantastic if fans are allowed in to watch the final
