Smith is just a half soaked manager who is out of his depth in this league.

Picking Drunkwaster ahead of Nakamba shows how stupid he is.

What did nakamba do after he came on to justify that ?

He's not Drinkwater.

Same response to you as the OP. Specifics?

A bullet proof manager, no matter how we play or how the results are, a squad with no decent striker, five decent players,( Jack, Mings, Super John, Heaton and Reina), two of which are poxy keepers. I’m sorry, and kudos to you, but how exactly do people think we’ll stay up?
And who, other than those I’ve named, are giving you that hope?

West Ham, Watford and Norwich, all of who are below us.

Sorry Dave but I think, and I don’t know why, West Ham will get out of it somehow.

Maybe they will. Maybe Bournemouth, or Brighton, or Palace, will get dragged back into it. At this stage nothing is certain, which is why it's so annoying to see so many of our supporters saying we're already down when we're nothing of the sort.

So do you think we will stay up?

Yes

More than Drunkwaster did. It's an embarrassment that he gets picked.

To be fair, Nakamba had 4 or 5 good tackles for an interception. He presses up the pitch fairly well.

Drinkwater was off the pace, hands on his hips. Don’t know what he offers but I’m not the manager.

Could you mention some specifics? Instead od schoolboy puns maybe.

He's slow and stumbles around the pitch. Doesn't look fit despite having plenty of time to get fit.

Is that some kind of achievement? The only reason we are not in bottom 3 is luck not because of smith.

He cant hide forever results have to improve

A lot of supporters myself included would have staying up this season as an achievement, given coming via the play offs, player overhaul etc.

Why is it luck, that we are ahead of three other teams. I don’t remember us being overly lucky this season, even today the VAR decision went against us. I’m not saying we’re particularly unlucky, I think we are about where we deserve to be, which is not in the relegation places

I asked for specifics about how Nakamba did better when he came on. Because I didn't see them, that's all

Honestly, I know it’s disappointing to lose in the way we did, but there is some absolute fucking shit being written on here. If you’re that convinced that everything is rubbish, we’re shit and definitely going down then don’t bother watching anymore.

The game I was at we should have been 2 or 3 up before they scored, only an unbelievable save from their keeper and a pass from Jack when he should have shot kept them in it. We had more possession, more corners and more shots, and in the end we’re undone by a dodgy penalty and a mistake from a defender starting his first game in months.  Unfortunately it’s a tough league, and sometimes these things go against you.

What’s pissing me off more than anything else though is this attitude that Smith is useless and we have got a team that is not up to it. Have you seen us in the last 10 years? Do you remember what we looked like a little over 12 months ago? This team, by and large, is full of young players getting a full season at this level for the first time and they are trying their bollocks off - just look at the previous 2 home games for evidence. They are going to get things wrong, but they will also get better together the longer they have.

Totally agree. There’s so much negativity and throwing in the towel on here whenever we lose. No wonder we’re accused of being fickle.

What specifics do you need?

Drinkwater was hopeless. On one occasion he even failed with a five yard pass, that nearly resulted in a goal.

From the interview, I find it absurd he actually wanted to press high up the pitch.

Why do that against a team like Spurs?

Standing off got us mullered against citeh. Today we were a daft mistake away from a point. It worked.

He was involved in a lot of the good play in the first half. It was right that he was substituted. Nakamba did ok when he came on but I didn't see anything to suggest him not starting was a crass error. Luis and Nakamba together aren't the answer for me.

Just got back and that was a right kick in the nads at the end, hope the players can pick themselves up after that they are going to have to if we have a chance of staying up.

Spurs are nowhere near as good as opening up teams from deep as Man. City are. Guys like Son and Moura love space behind full backs to run onto.

We did bunker up for last 20 minutes. Whether we just ran out of gas or were just happy at 2-2 we were seeing it out o.k bar some dodgy marking from corners.
