Ah, should be interesting. Dubois doesn't fight until the end of August, does he? Which, if they go ahead with Joyce/Dubois in October, Joyce will be more rested, but then is that an advantage for a 34-year old?

Three months between fights is about the least a top heavyweight gets. He looked okay tonight but he's ponderously slow.

Four or five years ago, that wouldn't necessarily have been too much of an obstacle in the Heavyweights. But the landscape has changed and it's difficult to see Joyce having any great success, even if he beats Dubois (I don't think he will). Fury, Wilder, AJ, Whyte, Usyk, Parker would all have far too much for him, I think.

He'd be a big outsider against any of them, but he looks like he can take some punishment and if Dubois can't get him out in the first four rounds the rest of the fight could be interesting.

True, it'll be one of the fights of the year, definitely, but barring a Calzaghe/Lacy type of loss I can only see Dubois really gaining from the fight. The big names will be too busy over the next 18 months for Joyce to even register.

Saturday's Matchroom card looks decent.

Eggington v Cheeseman could be a tear up if Sam has anything left in the tank after a tough career!

Eggington always gets talked about as though he's a veteran but he's only 26. Then again, he's taken some punishment. Tonight's card has started well.

Cracking fight, think Macklin was spot on Eggington started too slowly - saying that Eggington is one of my favourite fighters to watch, always box office.  Hopefully rematch when crowds are back

So the undercard for the Jones/Tyson comedy show is a former NBA player taking on a Youtuber.

Absolutely. If Eggington ever realises that he can block punches with something apart from his chin he could be world level. I had it 115-113 Cheeseman but half a dozen of those rounds could have gone either way.

Jason Welborn will very likely be having his last fight tonight.
