I don't think Joshua is a better boxer than Wilder though, not really.

On the evidence of last night and Joshua's clever performance in the Ruiz rematch i'd say he is streets ahead.

Wilder looks distinctly mediocre and talks of a 3rd fight between him and Fury are a bit disappointing. Yes they will make a lot of money from it, but Fury will just humiliate him again.

Agree, why would anyone consider a 3rd fight?
Fury has beaten him, by a considerable margin, twice, albeit robbed in the first.
Got to be a unification fight next

Joshua has already got a fight pencilled in at Spurs' stadium in the summer hasn't he?

I don't think Joshua and his team will be in any sort of hurry to meet Fury.  They probably realise that'll be his career on a right downward spiral when Fury kicks his arse.

I agree, but, it has to go ahead.
Can’t see the point of a 3rd with Wilder, I know he’s a bit of a one trick pony, but, it is still one heck of a trick, and might not be worth the risk, especially as the unification bout is what everyone now wants.
I reckon Fury would retire if he unified the division.

Fury's contractually obliged to fight Wilder again though if Wilder exercises the rematch clause in his contract.  Can't see him not doing to be honest.  Not great for Fury really.

He has 30 days from the end of the fight to exercise the re match clause. Would prefer to see AJ against Fury, it would make huge sums for the fighters. Wilder and Fury got 28 million each plus a share of pay per view for the weekends fight.

To the boxing fans, when did Fury become likeable?  Did he enter my consciousness whilst in his depressed state - i.e. came across more than a touch arrogant - or has he become more humble/likeable?

I think he always has been a lovable rogue and since he came back from his lay-off he's not said anything controversial.

Wilder now blaming the immense weight of his 3 stone ring walk costume for his wobbly legs. So nothing to do with 19 stones of Tyson Fury punching him repeatedly in the face then ?

When I was in the fire service the BA sets were 40lb.
It’s not a great weight, so no excuse.

Unfortunately I agree...I can’t see AJ beating Fury. I’ve been watching the Fury documentaries and as much as you have to credit him for his comeback physically and mentally, he and his family are still complete and utter bellends (not that I’d say that to their faces!). TF is just too big physically and brain dead mentally to get knocked out by AJ, so the only way for an AJ win would be to out box him and take it on points. Either way, it’s not going to happen for a good while yet as the Fury vs Wilder gravy train looks set to continue its journey for another year or so.
