Unless they’re holding a block back, 2.5k left.

That waould be about right with 30,000 ST holders and 1,000 odd that Villa have taken for players, sponsors etc.

A VCTM dilemma - I have a hotel booked in Ealing the night before  the final - my chances of me and Jnr getting a ticket are minimal , like they were for the play off l - due to a combination of  illness and unemployment - we are both claret members but have only attended the first three home games before my illness took its toll - shall I go down on the Saturday and have a curry at my favourite Indian restaurant in Ealing and watch the game the following day at the Arch Pub (Wembley) with Jnr or take Mrs VCTM down to London town to " do the sights"
Try and keep your responses clean as Mrs VCTM May want to look at the suggestions ;)

Pub and watch the game ... but check the local pubs to Wembley will show the game.

I seem to remember having that conversation in The Arch last May with some bar staff. I'm sure they said the game wouldn't be shown there or any local pub [1/2 a mile radius] however, events and conversations are a little hazy from about 11 in the morning that day so i may be talking complete and utter bollox, and they may have wanted everyone out of their pub!

18,000 tickets were sold last night.

We've got an extra allocation of 571 tickets.

How did that happen? Man City not selling out or the Football League returning some?

At the category change last night. Guess that around 30,000 have been sold.

18000 last night so only 12000 to longer term season ticket holders the week before doesn't quite make sense numbers wise.

I can see it, tbh. I'll wager that a lot of our recent ST intake are either kids, or strayed sheep returning within their flock. Me and my brother have 14 years continuous each, but had to wait til yesterday to get his first-season nipper's so that we could sit together. There was at least one other poster on here yesterday in a similar position. If you were in a group where just one of you didn't qualify til yesterday, if you wanted to sit together you had to wait.

Same for us. We needed seven tickets for long timers and four for newer ST holders so had to wait until yesterday so we could sit together.
