I think most claret members who want one will probably get one.  There could well be a 1,000 or so ST holders who don’t tale up a ticket and there will be plenty of claret members who don’t.  It will be tight, but if your a claret you’ve got a good chance

I'm not so sure on that.  I would think most season ticket holders would know somebody who'd want to go if they couldn't and would take their ticket.

Yeah, maybe.  Still, not all claret members so odds will be better than 3 in 8

What if someone from Devon or Scotland or Europe (remember that) gets to 4, but someone from Selly Oak does 6, who deserves a ticket more? It’s hard I think to call.
The one with most games , as theyve put more money into the club.
Should always be , season ticket holders & then on home games attended .
That's the simplest & fairest way to do it ... reward loyalty!

So Randy Lerner should be front of the queue?

The rules of Claret membership were clear at the start of the season, you can't look to change them now we've reached a final.

Also why don't those with claret membership and 12 home league matches just buy a ST at the start of the season?

Been a season ticket holder since 1989, hopefully they will have the correct records for everyone who has had one since 2015, I do worry that I will apply next week and be told that I have not had a season ticket for the correct amount of time!

1, Yes that's exactly what I meant
2, what rules ?
3, Peoples circumstances change/dictate not being able to buy a season ticket at the time they were on sale ?

The tickets are very expensive.  Alot of people will not pay those prices to see us likely lose and possibly heavily.

I think there will be a lot of avaialbility for claret members to be honest

We'll sell out comfortably. Man City wont.

It's never been harder to get a ticket down the Villa. Every league game has been 40k plus and not a single away game has reached general sale.

We're in a final, it doesn't matter who we are playing or how much it costs, we haven't forgot who we are. This is in contrast to our opponents who sent tickets back for the semi final of the FA Cup and didn't sell out the League Cup game.

there's a seat near me that no one ever sits in, for about maybe 8 years. We've enquired about it in the past trying to get it for friends etc. apparently someone down south keeps renewing. Surely the best way to secure a Wembley ticket :D

You might want to revaluate that. According to AVFC support on Twitter, there are 28000 club members.

If that's the case then either there's a lot who haven't been this year or not many who have been ro multiple matches. Also no surprise they were overwhelmed at the start of the season.
