What if someone from Europe gets to 4

Joey Tempest can afford to do more games.

What if someone from Devon or Scotland or Europe (remember that) gets to 4, but someone from Selly Oak does 6, who deserves a ticket more? It’s hard I think to call.
The one with most games , as theyve put more money into the club.
Should always be , season ticket holders & then on home games attended .
That's the simplest & fairest way to do it ... reward loyalty!

The fairest system would be for them to give all the tickets to me for free and then I sell them to the highest bidder.

The first cup game with them was in 1900.

We drew at theirs and then won the replay at Villa Park 3-0.

Billy Garraty (Jacks Great Grandad) scored two of the goals.

I suppose Man City go there that often the corporates don’t sell so well. I imagine there’ll be a lot more Villa in club Wembley

One touting site has our tickets starting at £235 and theirs at £80.
A mate of mine knows a tout and it’s all about supply and demand. This may well be our fifth trip to Wembley in 5 Years but Man City are well above that. IIRC they had trouble shifting tickets for the more glamorous F.A. Cup final so we should probably be more keen than them to get tickets, despite the expected result.

Despite their success they are still primarily a club with local support, just like us. I don’t thinkthey are yet challenging Liverpool Manyoo or Arsenal for global supremacy

Personally I think they should probbaly scratch Claret Memberships next year, but that's another issue.

Given FFP and the apparent need to generate our own income, it seems hard to imagine they’d  turn down the chance to create 1/4 million £.

Are there any members with no games. It seems a waste of money to me. It's not like you get anything for your 35 quid apart from the ability to buy tickets first. The kids do better. They both like the ball anyway!

Probably is, one thing is for sure, there'll be plenty that have done 0-2, and they have the same chance of a ticket as those that have done a dozen at home and 8 aways. I don't see how anyone can think that's fair.
You've changed your tune since the beginning of the season!!

Don't think I have, i've always thought it should be priority for those that go to the most games.

As everyone has moaned about claret members getting the 2nd dibs at tickets for the just few years, you would have thought that by now everyone knew the score and would get one, £35 is hardly out of the reach of people who go to games regularly. If any claret members only got it for a Wembley ticket, it is deserved for the optimism

I think it was 2015 when membership became a noticeable advantage, back then it was Villa Cash.

If last summer you managed to battle through to getting a membership and then decided to only use it in the event of a cup final, hats off to you for your tenacity and optimism.

Personally, if I was going to change it, first dibs would be amongst 30,000 that went to the Wolves game and the 25,000 that turned up for Liverpool in the competition that we've now reached the final of.

I understand that and you are right. But I sometimes think that fans who travel a long distance, should get some kind of acknowledgement, I take a 30 minute train journey, not a six hour drive.

I got a membership because it gives me a chance of getting a ticket. I've got one game in this season and I'm going to another in April. I need two tickets and I'm going to try and get one on my membership and hope someone else can get hold of one for me. I put that in bold so you'd all see it better. ;-)

I wouldn't moan if they made up a Cup final rule about number of games on your reference for a ticket. But they haven't so may luck be upon you!

I've done 5,339 miles so far this season, and even I don't think that would be a way fair to do it.

I think most claret members who want one will probably get one.  There could well be a 1,000 or so ST holders who don’t tale up a ticket and there will be plenty of claret members who don’t.  It will be tight, but if your a claret you’ve got a good chance
