 Not sure where to post this, but as we've signed an African ill try here. One for the older heads, but I read on twitter today that in the late 60s under Tommy Doc, we signed two Zambians who only played a few times between them. I'd never heard of this before, any one have any recollections ?

I saw them when I was home on leave.  The player behind Lew does not look big enough to be Andy Lochhead.  Looks like the build and physique of Charlie Aitken.

My first ever Villa kit - and we were relegated. My grandad bought it for me as a Christmas present from Harry Parkes when I was 7. About the only place that sold them back then.

I hope I'm not damning him with faint praise, because I really like the look of him, but he seems to have something of the Lewis Grabban about him (Grabban at his best, at the level we were at, I should add).

Harry Parkes shop was magnificent - my parents were friends with Harry as my mother worked for George Edwards - He always gave us a decent discount - I had the yellow away kit from that time ...used to get my boots from there - one of a few places where you could get Adidas at that time

Me too TV.  Sharp intake of breath by me at that clip where he leaps and arches his back so that he can head the ball down.  Perfect technique after all the years we have watched the ball come off our strikers heads like a bar of Palmolive off a wet watermelon.
