Draw 1-1 (we will have to score from a corner or free kick)

Many a time, Villa have gone into a game and we’ve thought, “this is the best time to play the opposition because (insert reason)” and all has come to nothing.

Hopefully, this will see a reverse.

1 - 2

Behind  enemy lines for this one, I am in the home end with a Brighton season ticket holder who has a spare ticket. I think the last time I sat in the opposing stand was Sheff Wed away back in 95 and had to hide my glee as we won 2-1 . I don't think I will have to contain too much excitement at what the Villa will come up with on Saturday but this team seems to prove me wrong every time I think we are dead and buried. Heart says win - somehow - but head says another day of misery.

I wasn't too bothered that we hadn't managed to get a striker in for the Man City game, but to go into this game without one is a little depressing.

We really need to win this so I reckon 2-1 Villa win.

Like Deanos Mullet, I'm behind enemy lines for this one. Really hope the team give me something to potentially get thrown out, but Brighton have a pretty good home record, we really need Jack deeper to influence the game and to get on the ball. Them 2, us 1.

Sportsbet currently has Brighton $1.67; the draw $4.20; and Villa $4.50. Looks like a Villa win would be a fairly big turnaround. Can’t see past a Brighton win unfortunately. Hopefully the bookies have got it wrong.

I feel we need to dig deep and grind out a draw - similar to the Leicester game.

Brighton play some really good stuff on their day, one of the best teams I've seen come to VP all season.

If they keep Mooy on the pitch they'll win like they would have at Villa Park. Please Villa don't surrender the middle of the park to them. I'm afraid I can't see us winning this and am not looking forward to the aftermath.

Mooy missed the last game injured but don't know if he's out for our game. He was playing well at VP until he got sent off, the sort of player we always just stand off and let them dictate the play.

As for the game, lack of any new attackers means I think we'll struggle to get even a draw out of this. 2-1 defeat.

I really want Dean to turn this around but I fear for him if we have another meekly surrendered game like Watford / Southampton

Please Villa  just find a win
