No changes

Which is what we expect. Smith puts his head in the sand and hopes for the best. The only good thing to come out of this is for them all to shout each other at the next training, and see if they can find some balls, and maybe other leaders out there. But I doubt it.

Smith said that Drinkwater told him that he was up for a fight. Words  are cheap.

Maybe said he was up for a pint?

Wondering how Drinkwater couldn't get in a shit Burnley team?  Look no further.

The bigger picture thinking really in interests me in times like this on how new wealthy owners with ambition, having just given a new 4 yr contract to DS. How much will they spend in next 2 weeks to back him, or cautious wages approach with more championship football in mind, how/why will they continue to back DS given some of his recent selections, coaching decisions and game plans ?

I’ll post in DS thread too to discuss

It’s still better than watching Drinkwater et. al. Strolling around as if it’s a fun run.

If Dean wasn’t too bothered with this game he should have played the reserves and not risked the likes of Grealish n Mings etc.
Complete pig’s dinner of a selection.

Another team meeting without the manager coming up in midweek. The last one worked for about 5 min. The Villa midfield; Jack aside is just horrific. And we have the worst full backs in the league by a million miles. That we have two 30+ players in that position at this level is borderline scandalous. Add to that no striker at all at the club. How the fuck did we get here?

Embarrassing comment. He might be struggling but not sure name calling is required.

Pretty fucking incredible he didn't get taken off at half time, that's the worst debut I've ever seen.

I just don't see how it's possible to not make any changes at half time after that, either, even if it was to take Grealish off and not risk him any further.

The yellow card for El Ghazi was a shit decision, if Fernandinho hadn't gone down like it was an elbow the ref wouldn't even have given a foul.
