Our football at times looks primitive compared to the Liverpool kids

It is sobering to watch but they're a club that has been building for a few years now, they're Europeans champions, confidence is probably at record levels and they've obviously got a fantastic youth set up there.  We're basically starting from scratch at all levels.  Our club was so badly run for so many years that we're way behind most clubs, not just Liverpool.

He seems to have such a great range of passing and good vision, looks a terrific prospect at this stage of his career.

Is anyone really enjoying this game? It's not boring as the Liverpool line-up is a novelty if nothing else but it's very odd.

It's a bit like a Soccer Aid game.
