The commentary I’m watching is like watching Liverpool TV. We’re doing a professional job and getting some miles into a few players legs. Not sure much more we could have expected.

Why not look at them together?  I don't get that.

Because Dean won’t change his system.

Its the eleventh commandment. Thou shalt not change tactics, or is that Tic Tacs
For it is written, thou shalt play but one striker, and one only.

No goals in second half this is pretty weak.

Weird match weird thread. Has it ever felt flatter to stick 4 goals on and waltz into a semi final? Wonder what it’s like at the ground.

Hardly any chants but for the Carew one.

I was looking forward to sticking a few goals past Liverpool but it's just felt very artificial. Still nothing much we can do about it.

Onto the semi finals and also Southampton.

Yeh you’re watching the same as me it appears. This was a no win for us. We’ve not played well but we’ve done more than enough to win by many more than this despite that.

I don't think they're trying their hardest...

Nyland really has been our best player by a mile. Another superb save

I'm not sure we've learned anything tonight that we didn't already know.

Trezeguet could have had a hat-trick.

Nyland really does look a good keeper all of a sudden.  Fair play to him for keeping his head up.

One of the worrying thing is that Liverpool have the quality of players coming through...  ::)

Apart from Nyland being better than we thought?

Would have been a nice opportunity for Dean to try a different way of playing.
