I am far more worried than I should be about this game seeing that line up considering its the Liverpool youth team. If we lose this the abuse will be horrific from non Villa fans. I swear to God i will be going into hibernation unless we win and win well.

I don’t think I have heard of any of that Liverpool team. Not even Brewster there. If our reserves can’t turn these over than we don’t deserve to progress

One of a few players we really might have worried about is Brewster... injured

That would be nothing compared to the abuse we'd give the manager/team if they fail to win this. No excuses.

It's a no-win situation for Villa this game.... If we win, it will be classed as a hollow victory, but we have EVERYTHING to lose if we don't see it out professionally. Need a couple of early goals to ease the pressure.

I suspect Dean has picked this team because he knew they would have to play their youth team

Liverpool's kids will play without pressure and run themselves into the ground.

Unless we match their work rate and then use our greater experience the result could be embarassing.

Harvey Elliott is the only name I recognise. From their team I mean, I know our players..

Quite surprised not to see Archer and/or Ramsey given a chance.

I hope I'm wrong but looking at that line up I am getting the fear/feeling of that Uefa Cup tie against CSKA Moscow.

I’m happy with that team

let’s see how they get on now in a game they should easily win before you factor in the Villa fuck up odds

This one's on DAZN so I get to watch it!

Nice to see Chester back. Let's hope Kodjia really puts in a good performance too, just to give signs of life that he could step in for Wesley if needed.

As for Liverpool, those double-barrelled names ... Lucky for us that Ponsonby-Smythe is out.
