Three games to save his job I reckon, or give somebody else the chance to get their players in, in January.

Dean has got his excuse ready though I can hear it now.  ‘We are coming into the game and get the penalty, score that and it changes everything but you cannot miss that at this level.’

'Why didn't Kodjia take the penalty?' now trumps 'Why didn't Barry take the penalty?'

Our best player should be able to score a penalty. Papering over the cracks anyway

Is anyone else starting to wonder, “Did we get promoted before we were ready?” After all, we only came fifth in the Championship, and were lucky to get promoted. Perhaps the plan (?) was to win the Championship this season, and get promoted because we deserved to.

I don't agree sorry.  If we hadn't gone up, we'd have had an even bigger rebuilding job to do, as Grealish and McGinn wouldn't be here now.
...and?

Still waiting for how we were lucky, who deserved to be in the playoffs more than us and who out of Albion and Derby in the playoffs were better than us?

Are there three worse teams than us in this division? Because right now I’m struggling to think that there is.

Only consolation is 19th and 20th are starting to get adrift so really just the one place to avoid.

Crap Villa. Telly turned off.

No positives. A Lambert eqsue performance, again.

I really want Dean to succeed. He looks lost right now.

How do we always end up with the same problems regardless of the team or manager?

Not concerned about the corners. Like throw-ins, we're clueless with them.

He was unhappy it didn't get retaken for enchroachment so imagine he'll be using that as his get out.

Another game that could have been a 5-0 defeat

Too many times this season, the time to make a sub war half time. He doesn't do it.

Oh well, at least we haven't just given the manager a massive new contract.

I felt worse when lost to Wigan 3-0 last January and pretty bad when lost to Brentford and Albion in successive games in February and we’re sitting in mid table in the championship.

Saying all that, its been a shit couple of weeks post Man U game. We haven’t really laid a glove on these today. Next 3 games will define our season I think. I would take any kind of scrappy win against Southampton next week.

This coupled with playing players out of form and sticking to a system that isn’t working.
