Almost on the hour now, 1 shot, a tactical masterclass from Dean here.

Tactical changes to affect the game Dean?

When you've had zero shots on target after an hour then to me it does feel obvious to bring on the two attacking players off the bench.

Leave it much longer and it's going to be 2-0 and a far more difficult task for subs to make an impact in.

Playing players so desperately out of form and when criticised digging your heels in only ends one way.
So many managers lose the role through stubborness I hoped (and still hope) that Dean is more progressive.

is Dean Smith the shitest manager we’ve ever had for half time talks

Close but I think Lambert still edges it.

The decision to not have decent back up for Wesley is disastrous.

I think Davis was the backup plan?

I am not sure Davis was an adequate back up in the Championship.

Wesley may well be decent given time, but he is being flogged to death up front and he probably needs a break.

He played about 4 games last season. It was simply a decision we got wrong so not quite the perfect transfer window many here and elsewhere were patting themselves on the back over.

Anyway Sheffield making a change before us, McBurnie coming on.
