Has Targett managed to pass to a villa shirt yet? So many miscued passes even when not under pressure!?

I'd rather have Enda Stevens, that's for sure.

Maybe he'll come good. He certainly has a decent understanding with Jack.

To be fair we have kept them pretty quiet so far

This is the best I’ve seen from our defence for a long time. Am wondering if Mings has been the problem or we have just missed Engels

Our two centre halves have been excellent and Nakamba is doing a good job in front of them.

Last weekend it was noticeable how he'd at most break into a laboured jog when getting back down the pitch.

Hause is the only bright spot this half, he's done very well this half.

Yep defensively we look good. I think Engels and Hause could be the answer but I also think Engels is one of those players who makes whoever he plays with better.

Fucking hell, we have a break on and Wesley is 50 yards behind and not making any attempt to get forward.

He really is wank.

It’s coming up to half time quiz time.
Will Dean Smith
A. Make a tactical substitution in order to try and effect the pattern of play.
B. Wait til we are a goal behind and then make a substitution.
C. Do nothing al long as its 0 0

This game isn’t very inspirational is it. Two Championship sides.

It's really poor standard. Might be no harm after the chaos last week but with the ball we are offering zilch. AEG and Wes could both come off at the break

Non-eventful first half. Highlight appears to be that we may have found our most 'reliable' defensive unit -

     Engels     Hause
          Nakamba

These 3 have looked good so far.

I don't know why AEG starts over Trez.

Is it right we haven't had an attempt on goal yet?
