Typical Bruce setup. We have had 3 defeats in row and might crumble under some pressure, so what does he do.. play defensive.

This performance from Newcastle is exactly why I hated Bruce.

Terrific first half. Jack pulling the strings, Conor really makes the difference in these games and Target and Freddie bombing on, just need to stay solid now. Typical Bruce performance first half away. St Max looks a danger though.

Bruce will now give an "inspirational" half time bollocking to Newcastle and then throw on another defender.

Or do nothing and with 15 mins left take off as many midfielders as possible and stick everyone up front including centre halfs.

A danger to himself the massive bandana wearing fanny.

McGinn Fluffed his lines when in good positions, nothing shot/cross and wasted an easy ball to Wes that should’ve put him in. Lacks a bit of composure at times.

I don’t think SJM has had a bad game just not his usual brilliant game.

SJM has been on International duty whereas some others have had a rest.

That’s why Conor’s in the team, thought he did bugger all for 30 minutes, but then who cares. Up to then thought Bruce was doing his boring thang quite well, but now we SHOULD be ok.

Starting to think Conor is actually better suited to the Premier League than the rough and tumble of the Championship.
That left peg of his is like a fine wine and fits well into this league 😉👌🏼

I think SJM has had a decent game so far. Maybe its because we are used to him being the only one of the midfielders playing well, that when the others have a decent game he just doesn't stand out?

He's still finding some excellent positions.

messed up two counter attacks for AEG at the end, delayed pass too long for the first and overhit the pass for the second. Has been very busy though but they werent difficult passes to send AEG clear on goal.

Luiz for Nakamba aside, it was the team selection I wanted. Konsa justifying his inclusion as has Hourihane. AEG very dangerous and playing as a second striker at times, well our nominal striker might aswell not be there...

Grealish, a class above. Reminds me of last season, the difference in quality between him and everyone else out there.

Yep, probably right and the fact that we get rather spoiled by his brilliance at times.

Conor playing well, not just his goal threat. Looks good today in that midfield.
