Playing well, but what the hell has happened to Sir John McGinn?

Not even into the 45th minute and the seats empty out.
Mercy dash to the lavs.
Exciting stuff so far!

There isn’t anything in the world worse than being 2-0 up at half time, and then losing.

Being 3-0 up?
When was that?

Yeah SJM been a different player for club and country of late. Different level, mind. Has all the press got to his head?

Playing a more subdued roll to give Jack freedom

Happy with the first half performance, just need to keep the ball now for the next 45 minutes and let Newcastle keep chasing shadows.

No complaints here. Best 45 minutes so far this season, we're really looking like a team, no passengers.

Bruce looks like he's shitting it, fearing an absolute hammering tonight.

Newcastle come to this with good form, we look comfortable, in control, really good first half, Mcginn gets a bit sharper I can see more goals, Jack is looking class, how he's not in the England side beggars belief.

I think SJM has had a decent game so far. Maybe its because we are used to him being the only one of the midfielders playing well, that when the others have a decent game he just doesn't stand out?

He's still finding some excellent positions.

Bruce will now give an "inspirational" half time bollocking to Newcastle and then throw on another defender.

I don’t think SJM has had a bad game just not his usual brilliant game.
