I’ve just watched Football Focus for the first time in years. They ended with the big game of the weekend, Spurs v Man City and wrapped it up with Dion Dublin saying that every team in the league bar Man City and Arsenal are inconsistent but Pep will like City being under the radar chasing Arsenal.

Dion should stick to Homes under the hammer!

Because as a Villa fan, he knows that Unai will enjoy being under the radar even more. There's no need to broadcast our title credentials on national TV.

Douglas Luiz’s last game for Nottingham Forest – last week’s defeat in Braga – ended in disappointment. His was a performance in keeping with a difficult few months, with the 27-year-old limited to five league starts after joining on loan from Juventus. When Villa visited Brentford in August, Tielemans, McGinn and Kamara all started alongside Amadou Onana. Now the 18-year-old academy youngster George Hemmings, who made his debut last month, is seemingly next in line.
