Let’s be candid - we don’t want fair competition. When most people say “fair” (maybe not all, but most) they mean rules that suit us and enable us to spend without restriction. I get it, but that won’t be a “fair” circumstance that would allow it.

Exactly. Speaking for myself, I would like the rules tweaked only slightly, in a way that bakes in our advantage over most of Europe and the rest of the world, with a ban on state ownership thrown in.

Haha, slightly edited as the first time I typed ‘ban on’ it autocorrected to ‘Bannon’, the white supremacist ******.

Do most people really think that? I’d be surprised if most people wouldn’t just prefer a complete level playing field.

So we can spend as much on transfers and wages as every other club?

I don't think people would enjoy that very much.

Anyone watching 'Joăo Palhinha :The Football Interview' after MOTD? Thought not.

The twat should have been on '24 HRS In Police Custody'...

I'd have watched if the first question were, "Is it true that you've maimed more people than an Israeli pager operation?"
