Let’s be candid - we don’t want fair competition. When most people say “fair” (maybe not all, but most) they mean rules that suit us and enable us to spend without restriction. I get it, but that won’t be a “fair” circumstance that would allow it.

Exactly. Speaking for myself, I would like the rules tweaked only slightly, in a way that bakes in our advantage over most of Europe and the rest of the world, with a ban on state ownership thrown in.

Haha, slightly edited as the first time I typed ‘ban on’ it autocorrected to ‘Bannon’, the white supremacist ******.

Do most people really think that? I’d be surprised if most people wouldn’t just prefer a complete level playing field.
