Good stuff from Ashley Williams for those who didn't see the game.

We aren't Shay's first team but he does like us a lot.

That fractured jaw was so bad he played 40 minutes with it.

Good to see Ollie getting the recognition he deserves for setting the new record. I didn’t realise what a significant difference there was in the number of games between reaching his record and Gabby’s total.

I also appreciated the comments about Cash, Emi and Onana - and Unai, in the commentary.
What a weekend!

Some of Pearce commentary had obviously been added on after the game which seems a bit disingenuous to me!

What a weekend!

It took Gabby all his footballing career.

Which bits? They mentioned Ollie the previous week as well.

He was particularly harsh on Ramsey , ignored the player who cynically fouled him and could have brought on a long term injury and focused upon Ramsey's "petulant immature" reaction . TWhat .

To be fair to Agbonlahor he wasn't able to add to his tally for the last season or two of his career, as he was busy testing the foundations of our Championship bench.

Anyone who thinks Jonathan Pearce has an 'anti-Villa' agenda clearly hasn't watched MOTD much.

But was that the bits added in after the match?

And it was an immature reaction as the ref had blown and the player probably getting a yellow. And instead he picked up one as well and got Martinez one as well (Although I think that was just a shit ref not realising Emi was captain and thinking he had just ran to get involved for no reason.

Well he did add 2 more to his full league total in those 2 seasons.

Indeed Ramsey’s reaction was daft - I understand it, but it’s daft.
