Jamie Redknapp's analysis was better.

"They play like that on Tuesday, they'll beat City, that's how good they were".

That's not quite the compliment I think he intended, as City have been poor for a while now, but it's still nice to hear.

Let’s hope they’re poor Tuesday.

It's safe to say Rory's street cred has just taken a bit of a bashing. :(

Weirdly, I know the song, I just couldn't get my head around the 'Geordie' bit. That's so bad it isn't really a pun at all.
Well Lineker is a doddering old man on the verge of retirement.....
Careful  now Somni there are few of us around here in  that category😏

Yes that's no benchmark.

Not seen the schar red anywhere yet?
Hindsight, but I'm glad he didn't get sent off. No excuses for them.
Yes and also I reckon that helped us as Newcastle  didn't abandon the idea of a win.

Oh these youngsters.

Awful take on this. (Young band from Brumingham)

As an aside. About '85/86 I bought my wife (then girlfriend) a beige Ford Fiesta on the car park at Castle Bromwich British Car Auctions (the dealer didn't have all the paperwork and was desperate for cash before Christmas). Went round to the dealers place somewhere on the Stratford Road or Coventry Road and sorted out cash and paperwork. I asked why the number plates had Musical Youth printed along the bottom. Transpired the previous owner had been the little kid out of Musical Youth. It was his first car.
Brilliant car. She had it for years. Have a couple of photographs of it somewhere when we took it for a drive to Cannock Chase when it went though the 100,000 miles.

Congratulations to Liverpool for winning 1-0 against the second poorest side on the Prem and winning their second title. Sorry I seem to have been misinformed on the second point as the BBC live text do seem to have devoted 2 pages of it to Liverpool and title records.

Not the most exciting line-up tonight. Should be on first, Saints/Citeh probably be if there were some goals in it.
