We just need calm heads and play a possession game in the second half.

Manage the game well in the second half Villa and win.

All in all a great half. Of course penalty was needed but I'd take 2-0.

More goals in this one though so I really hope it's not another hard luck story. We can score again and I don't see us shipping in 3 goals so there's the key e.g. don''t retreat and camp in our 18 yard box all second half. Oh and use some subs around the hour mark...

Two nil really is a horrible score especially for a team like ours that has mastered collapsing late on. Norwich will know they dodged a massive bullet there and it will give them hope in the second half

I know what you mean, but I'll take it over 1-0 obviously!

Haha of course. This is a test now. We need to show that we won’t drop deeper and deeper in the second half. Play the game as we have so far and make Norwich work for possession. I’m hugely concerned we will start the second period like we did vs Burnley. So today is a huge chance to mentally put all the disappointments so far this season behind us, score a third and go home with the points.

Game management now. Take the flow out of the game. Lots of stopping, taking time over everything. Dont let norwich build up a head of steam.

Just need to be a bit ruthless 2nd half, hold onto these points at all costs, this is where we need to show real Premiership composure and go on and win this game.

Come on Villa

Can't complain at 2-0 at half time, but should have been more. Hitting the bar from 3 yards out and a very poor penalty could come back to bite us given our propensity to give points away from winning positions.

Norwich understandably shocking at the back given their injuries. We've again played some good stuff and should really have a couple more goals.

Mings has been brilliant, but its all a bit last ditch at times for us defensively. We've blown 9 points from our half time positions so far this season. This is another golden opportunity and we need to make sure we don't fuck it up like we have in the last 3 games.

Yes we are about to see if Dean has learned his lesson in recent weeks

Getting Luiz on should help in that aspect.

9 shots on target according to WM.

V important second half now. Wesley now with record of goal every two games which sounds a lot better than some of his performances would suggest so  hopefully this will set him off on a run.
