Targett, Hourihane and El Ghazi starting. Interesting.

I'd have had Trez personally but don't fault the lineup otherwise. Very attacking anyway.

Doug should be in the first 11 and Hause should be on the bench instead of Taylor

I think that, in time, this will happen. Certainly away from home.

Would have Trez in otherwise happy, not a bad bench.

Who are these 10 Norwich injuries out of interest? They've got both their regular FBs playing, Godfrey is first choice, most of their regular midfielders are out there and Pukki of course.

Way people were talking I was expecting similar to what Brighton put out in league cup v us.

Anyway would be happy with point from this, they are good at home.

Don't be fooled by their keeper being 3rd choice. He is a very good keeper

Is Hause back to full fitness? If so i thibk having him on the bench as left back cover would have been the smart move. Especially when you consider his aerial ability. Burnley scored 2 goals fron headers with relative ease. As for the game im going for a 3-1 win for the Villa boys. (More in hope than expectarion)

1-0 win for the Villa courtesy of a VAR penalty.

Come on you Villa boys! I'm at a wedding so I will be surreptitiously following events. The bells are ringing for claret and blue.

how does Hourahane keep getting picked

hit the post last week then went missing for the rest of the match and Smith thinks yes I'll put him in again the ball might go in this time if we get a free kick

the blokes not the worst player we have but he is the most overated
total championship player and the more we keep playing the likes of him, Taylor, Elmo, Lansbury the more points we will drop,
you don't get away with having spare players in this league
