He's showing for the ball, cut out the play acting, and has scored 2 goals today. I'm giving him a free pass (at least until the second half).

Pfft.  I've never been a fan of that 'oh he's got 2 let's give him the pen' if the player doesn't normally take them.  There's loads of time left for him to get the hat trick normally.  Let the regular taker have it, go 3-0 up and the points are in the bag.
