Hannon-Dalby staying at New Rd for 4 more Champ games, done well so far, still good for div 2

I agree. There is a big difference in quality now between D1 and D2. OHD looked a level below last season and Warwickshire have a lot of seam bowling options

Good luck to him, he’s lead the Bears attack for several seasons and never lets his side down. He’d slipped from his previous high standards last year and this is a logical move for him. I’d be a bit pissed off being replaced by a couple of blokes that are older than me though!

I suppose he’s slipped down the pecking order at Edgbaston, but he’s been a good servant. I imagine he will end up at New Road on a permanent deal before the season is out.

I agree there is quite a big difference between the divisions.  He’ll play most if not all games because we only have probably 5 maybe 6 senior seam options and  a couple of those aren’t the most robust fitness wise.  Def got another 2/3 seasons bouncing round the div 2 counties whether it is Worcester or one of the others

After a ropey start it's ended up as a good day for the bears away at Notts, closing on 375/8

Barnard and Woakes turned it around with an excellent partnership.
