Another great away chase today. The last day of the Metro One Day Cup on Tuesday is shaping up to be superbly interesting. Won't even warrant a mention on Sky. The ECB really are cnuts.

Yep, didn't fancy them after they lost a few early wickets, but as you say it was a great chase and a great knock by Barnard (sorry Pears fans!!).

A win against Sussex at Edgbaston on Tuesday should see them secure a play-off spot shouldn't it?

Barney is class, not many better all rounders around in county cricket….

And a Villa fan as well, shame he doesn’t get a chance making a few quid in the Hundred.

Abysmal batting from the Bears today.

All that was needed was to bat through with an undemanding run-rate to get to the QFs but no, in the Spirit of Bazball they had to twat the ball up in the air and experiment with reverse-sweeps that weren't needed at all. Absolutely shocking to observe such zero-level game management.

And who benefitted? Middlesex, the team we threw another game away against at Rugby. Time to look in the mirror, folks.
