Pretty unbelievable finish to the game and the season.  Hopefully the near miss will sharpen a few minds at Edgbaston going forward.

Amazing how last season they won it and just avoided relegation, but what a bowling performance. Plus, sends the Yorkies down.

As nerve-wracking goes, sounds similar to Villa in 2020.

I was on a 9 hour flight so missed all of the drama, what a win! You Bears!

Now the hard work starts, the squad needs a huge overhaul, but for now let’s enjoy the win.

That was absolutely unbelievable. Gutted I couldn't be there but after checking the score all day I had to sit in a pub for the last hour or so and watch it on my phone.

My productivity at work dropped through the floor by about 2:30 yesterday afternoon, the youtube feed of the game is fantastic but I suspect I'm not alone in finding it very distracting yesterday.

Anyway, moving on we really need to make sure we're not in this situation again next year. Injuries and internationals have hit us hard in the bowling department and that's undermined our entire season, Barnard coming in will help a little there but I'd like to see another, especially as Stone is leaving. On top of that we really need to replace Sibley because I'm not sure we have anyone along Yates that I like as an opener. We have a lot of mid-order batsmen though so maybe we need to work on getting one or 2 of them up there (Maybe Rhodes who used to open) as a cover option, I'm not convinced by Davies for it.

Would be ironic if they decided to drop Davies down the order next year, when for most of this season we could have afforded to play Davies down the order and would have had a more suited opening pair in Yates and Sibley, when we've obviously got one less option now with Sibley going. I don't think Rhodes will push back up, although he should.

Amazing win... you can watch the live feed back on youtube. Unbelievable stuff and enjoy it but lots of work for next season.

Think Davies was brought in as a top order batsman in the white-ball formats more than anything else.  Hopefully Rob Yates can find some consistent form at the top of the order, but he probably will need a new partner with Sibley going.  Hain and Rhodes are solid at 4 and 5, so depends on whether Davies can do a job opening or at 3 I suppose.

We’ve got enough bowling options, but it is just whether they can stay fit.

Amazing from Norwell! Only his fourth game of the season but he kept going for nineteen overs with only two short breaks without it noticeable affecting his performance. Incredible!

I don't profess to have any knowledge about what is going on behind the scenes at Edgbaston but i find it astonishing that Matt
Lamb has been allowed to walk away and join Derbyshire on a 2 year deal.
When is this exodus going to stop?
What are the underlying issues at the club?
Is it Robinson, plenty of rumours that players don't get on with him and the Davies signing upset the applecart by the money they're paying him.
Definetly something wrong whatever the truth is.

Barnard will improve you, becoming a very good 6/7 bat, good seamer, excellent fielder…be surprised if you see Mo in red ball but he is still a class white ball player.

If you have any spinners you don’t need send them to new road :-)
