I see that Lancashire are being as gracious in defeat as their neighbours down the road.

The ball was dead when the Hampshire keeper broke the stumps at the batsman’s end. Their captain, their CEO and a few former players are claiming otherwise, that they were going for a second run so the ball was still live.

Get over it you bunch of classless twats.

Watched the T20 final last night keenly aware I had to do some watering at the allotment before it got too dark, so was prepared to make a swift exit. As I turned the telly off I thought they've celebrated that a bit quickly, what if the third umpire says no ball?

Got home to find bets settled as expected. Only found out 13 hours later that it had been a no ball and I had missed the last ball!

I thought it was an odd decision to win the toss and bowl with the weather like it is today and Kent’s very strong batting line up. Just shows what I know!

Bears game is moving along pretty quickly with Kent effectively 64/4 in their 2nd innings.

The delivery from Miles to get Leaning is an absolute beaut, very late swing to take it past the edge and clatter his off stump, surely the most satisfying of all wickets.

Reverse swing, but still reminded me of my favourite ever wicket: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ue0ghB6Z_C4

I think we will need a lot more rain than is forecast to save us today.

An appalling season so far and if we lose today then we will be staring at the R word.

At least no play in Taunton so Somerset might only draw.
