Topped off by the usual singing about the Villa by various shades of blue and white morons.  It's almost laughable really when one of the clubs doesn't own their ground, one can't open parts of their ground and one is looking forward to a season of Championship mediocrity with Steve Bruce as their manager.

And probable relegation to League 1 come next May......

With Moeen replacing Brathwaite as captain, currently have 4 spinners.

Moeen, Briggs, Lintott and Mousley. So assume one of Lintott or Briggs won't be back.

Bastards. We only had that record a few weeks.

The good news is Worcester no longer hold the record for the biggest defeat :)

We can’t even keep a record…no wonder we can’t keep our players :-)

I have one spare ticket for finals day next Saturday if anyone is interested in a day in the sunshine. Think (from memory) it cost me £74.

Decent start from the Bears after winning the toss and batting are:
74/1 21 gone
Sibley 53
Benjamin 4
Davies the man to go.

Sibley was going at a fair rate before the wicket with a strike rate in the 90s. He went really into his shell after it though.

Benjamin gone for 7 now, Mousley in and Bears are:

83/2
Sibley 54
Mousley 1

This season, with the red ball, has been dreadful. I was quite forgiving early on when we were struggling to field a fit bowling attack but the betting has now fallen apart as well so a season where we should've been challenging for the championship has turned into one where staying in the division is the priority.

Piss funny all the fireworks going off then they cut to the umpire calling everyone back.
Still, as long as the third city didn't win, alls good.
