Yeah, not the most inspiring of starts. Hopefully this pair can pile a few on.

Not good so far. 16/2 Davies gone.

Not the ideal start but these 2 are capable of scoring big and fast and we still have Benjamin, Mousley and Brathwaite so we just need to consolidate a little and make sure we don't lose another in the powerplay.

Bollocks, that's exactly what we didn't want, this is a tough ask now, 3 wickets down in the powerplay rarely works out well for the team chasing.

Maybe they really want to catch the second half of the football? This has been extra-level shite, some terrible shots to get out.

Saved the worst performance of the competition for tonight.

Yep, not the game you want to save an absolute shocker for.  Just one of those games where nothing went right.

Exactly. Shame such a good season was marred like this

It's more galling that it wasn't an entirely bad performance, the season got ruined by one bad 'half' with the bat after restricting the visitors to a score that's proved very getable this year.

Topped off by the usual singing about the Villa by various shades of blue and white morons.  It's almost laughable really when one of the clubs doesn't own their ground, one can't open parts of their ground and one is looking forward to a season of Championship mediocrity with Steve Bruce as their manager.

That’s it for Brathwaite then, Ali will be captain next year. The Sterling experience hasn’t worked either so they will shuffle the pack with the addition of Ed Barnard. We need to keep Adam Hose though!

Still, nice for them to get a day out at the second biggest stadium in the city

There were Villa fans singing in the pub after if it makes you feel better. I'd rather nobody bothered with any football chants if they weren't attending football matches, though.
