Seems like the whole of Worcester has shut since we were last here. 🙁

What are you looking for?

Charles the second.

He's still hiding in an oak tree.

Anyway we were looking for non-rammed pubs near the ground and we found one eventually so panic over. 🙂

Cheers mate. The usual shit show against Worcester. Not very happy with Worcester staff confiscating twenty quid's worth of food then threatening to throw me out when I pointed out that it doesn't say anywhere on the tickets that you can't bring food in. The one steward was decent and apologetic, the other was a massive power-crazed arsehole.

Sounds about right.

Years ago I used to just stroll into New Rd, a steward who was supposed to be checking tickets even told me once that they don't mind ticketless people coming in, filling the seats, buying a couple of pints or an ice cream, checking out the club shop.

But since it was developed they've become really strict. It's lost some of that quaint charm and become more like one of the Test grounds.

I was asked to leave Edgbaston in 2014 after we had a bag of crisps confiscated. The steward said it was ECB policy but I had a bit of a go back, telling him about my trip to Lord's the previous year when I was sat next to a bloke who'd brought in four bottles of wine and a full cheese board including two knives.

Bears win by 1 run.

With Hales scoring quickly it didn't look good, happy with that.

An interesting quirk in the rules, I didn’t notice that it had happened until I saw the highlights of the last over.
