Another abject batting display by the Pears….bowlers  yet again set the game up brilliantly this morning but batting is plain dreadful

It's embarrassing Gareth.  The coaches need replacing.
Absolutely on Gidman, he seems hopeless & the pink and fluffy nonsense he spouts does my head in… Richo is doing ok with the bowlers tho….

Need two batsmen over winter in addition to Wade & they need to be the standard of Libby not the standard of Roderick

Roderick has been very meagre with his runs.  I see Pollock has signed but he's hit and miss too.  I appreciate that we are seen as being one of the smaller clubs but I wish we'd show some ambition in the coaching stakes and get rid of Gidman.  Could so with Moeen playing a bit more next season.  Looking forward to Wade coming in.
Captaincy decision will be interesting, I suspect it will have been part of the new contract discussions with Libby but Cox, Wade, Barnard & Dolly must also be considered.  Mo I’ve said before I’m not convinced we’ll see in a Worcestershire shirt again, can see this T20 WC being his England swan song and it’s whether he wants to tour the world as a gun for hire around franchises for 2/3 years or whether he wants to finish his career domestically where he may fancy a few extra quid closer to home with Bears.

Scoring is still a bit slow really but winning the game is the most important thing. Really poor shot from Rhodes to get out.

Need to win and score at least 350 in 110 overs to be confident. That would take Hants and Lancs out of it. Maybe if we can get to 250 or so without taking too long then have a bit of a whack.

Bad little period there with Sibley going as well. Now on to 156/3 from 59

Hain and Lamb at the crease and both are capable at going at a much quicker rate than we saw earlier so the chances of making the 350 we need might be better for it.

The maths are pretty simple now, if we get 4 an over for the next 50 we're in control of our own destiny.

Since ^ we've gone at 1.5 an over and it's already looking like a big ask for us to get 3 batting points let alone 4, game has gone very flat.

I can see Lancashire losing, which would mean we need 350 off 110 overs. Still, our run rate has picked up a bit, you never know.

Bears 283 for 4 at stumps with Hain unbeaten on 83. Need 4.79 an over from the first fourteen overs of tomorrow to get to four batting points. If we do that, I think we are favourites. Anything short of that and we are relying on Lancashire not losing. They're 25 for 3 in reply to Hampshire's 143 all out.

Atrocious start to the morning. Three wickets lost in five overs. 350 has gone so we are relying on Lancashire not losing to Hampshire and they're currently 27 for 4.

Lancashire now five down. I think we've blown the title in the space of half an hour.

Dreadful morning for the bears, the 350 is gone now, needed Hain and Burgess to do a better job but both went really cheaply.
