I went last night, I really wish that I hadn’t bothered.

Notts started well, 72 off the first 6 overs, but we did well to get back into it with the ball and restrict them to 177. The batting is paper thin and I left when the 5th wicket went down, that’s something that I’ve never done before at cricket or football. We just can’t seem to play spin and looked clueless.

BBC announce their broadcasters for 'The Hundred'

Looks like it'll be Isa plus the Beeb's podcasters ('Tuffers & Vaughan', 'Tailenders' and half of 'No Balls')

Don't think I'll be paying much attention until the final stages. Far too old to pick a new team to root for.

Who would technically be your new team? I found it impossible to feel the same affinity for the 'Birmingham Bears' in the Blast, never mind this desperate Americanism.

Same. You don't mess with the basics. There are six legitimate deliveries an over. Anything else is simply wrong, regardless of what the mercenary PR agency you've paid a seven figure sum thinks.

Worcestershire is my county. If there isn't a Worcester (or Stourbridge!) based team I'm not going to be interested, although if it works out like the T20 tournament I might be able to make a few quid out of the latter stages.

I'm a Bear, but I live in Worcester myself, and love going down to New Road. I can't see the franchise system within the Hundred being a success. I was born and grew up in Brum, but I've met more cricket fans from 5 years in Worcester than I knew in 25 years in Birmingham. And none of them feel included within the Hundred whatsoever.

I think that the pitch might be doing a bit at Old Trafford

Kent 35-8

J Anderson 7 for 10 (including his 1000th First Class wicket)

Just the 1304 wickets behind Fred Trueman

A batting collapse at Edgbaston today, 225-4 to 237 all out in less than 8 overs. Dire.

Durham 89/3 37.1
Miles with all 3.
Ethan Brookes now involved in game in as much as he's bowling, in about his 4th over.

Being the last day and so much time lost now a battle for bonus points, current score:
205/5 76th over
Eckersly and Bedingham going along nicely.
34 overs for us to do some serious striking
