How many times did the ball beat the bat today. I don't think Derby will get 150

I see Chris Woakes is missing yet again? Will he ever play any red ball cricket for the Bears again? Typical Olly Stone is omitted from the England starting eleven against NZ and not allowed to play for the Bears either.

You asked the same question yesterday.

Tomorrows another day.
Bears obviously massive favourites. The way the ball moving still feel wrong decision not to enforce follow on. Derby are fragile and winless, today
was the third occasion whereby they could have followed on.

In the same place as Chris Woakes.

I know we bang on about this subject but is Chris Woakes not allowed to play for anyone at present !? Is he injured ? Is he still alive even !? No doubt Bairstow will be in the Yorkshire team later !

Squad for today's game: Will Rhodes (C), Carlos Brathwaite, Tim Bresnan, Danny Briggs, Ethan Brookes, Michael Burgess, Sam Hain, Olly Hannon-Dalby, Adam Hose, Jake Lintott, Craig Miles, Dan Mousley, Ed Pollock

I’m starting to think that he doesn’t want to play for the Bears.

While on the subject of missing men, what's happened to Henry Brookes?

I think Woakes played in a warm-up game against Northants earlier this week.

The Bears have set a challenging target against Notts, 229-5 off 20 overs. Brathwaite took 32 of Trego in the 19th, clinical hitting.

It's the third highest score in their history, so I'd hope it's a bit more than challenging.

With the Euros now in full swing people may have forgotten that Bears are at Derby today.
Derby made 160/8 off their 20

Pieter Malan's woes continue as he's out for 0 in first over
4/1  1.1 gone

just a mention that the lesser spotted Chris Woakes has been spotted making an appearance with a couple of wickets to his name.
