13 overs left in the day with Essex 188/8 a lead of 199 so Bears currently require 200+ a figure that frightens me with Essex having imo the bast attack in the country.
Harmer 46 & Cook 4
192/8 now

Its a shame they got that high, when the 5th went it really looked like we could get them all out today with a target of 150-160. That said the pitch does seem to be getting easier as the day goes on so get the last wicket early and dig in until after lunch as best we can and it'll be an interesting end to the game.

Very frustrating time at Edgbaston this morning Harmer up to 76 and Porter 10 as the score moves onto:
237/9 a lead of 248.

Getting more and more unlikely that Bears can win this, need to get this final wkt ASAP

10 overs gone, 37/1, 218 behind. Siddle looking useful, unfortunately.
