Rhodes retired out on 63 and Lamb retired out on 60 so technically 187-3 at the moment with Hain and Hose at the crease.

Bears are playing a 2 day friendly agianst Notts split as 60 overs with the ball and 30 with the bat today and reversed tomorrow. It's currently in the 56th over and Bears have bowled brilliantly to have them at 128/10

Pretty sure I've never heard of a team being 132 for 11 before. 😃

Bears are making it look a completely different pitch right now, 38/0 after 12

Sounds as though Malan struggling to get a visa, and we have Vihari lined up as his replacement.

Good start. Why is stupid Cricinfo page not updating automatically today? I can't be arsed pressing refresh every two minutes.

Glos also had a great start, with Surrey 5-2

However, Amla and Pope are now batting.

I like Cricinfo but their coverage of live county cricket is poor. Their daily reports are better and the ball by ball coverage of tests is great. The BBC sport app is better, I get wicket alerts on my phone for the Bears. I presume they have an advantage of staff at the ground purely for BBC stuff whereas Cricinfo use someone like George Dobell who works for several outlets and no doubt has to update them all. A great cricket journalist though.

Why is Olly Stone not playing for the Bears? Once again the ECB appear to be restricting his playing time.
