Just looked at the score and presumed we’d been Hain’d all over like normal then saw he isn’t even in the side….fair to say I’m not hopeful for an away win here :-)

He’s out injured for a few weeks.

It could be an interesting innings from the Pears, with Woakes and Hassan Ali in our attack plus Lintott and Briggs there’s plenty of variety in the Bears attack.

Class player is Hain, can’t believe never seems to get a mention for England…not needed tonight obvs.

Does Barney not bowl in t20 for you?

I love games like tonight. Bears get a bathful and we can laugh at the chase.

Assured of a home QF I think, bar some freak scores in the remaining games.

Was at Edgbaston earlier.  Very strong batting performance and good to see the young middle order firing.  Comfortable enough in the end, but I thought the bowling and fielding in particular left a bit to be desired at times and will need sharpening up if we are to progress to the latter stages of the competition.

Dominant performance from the Bears last night. Evening was slightly marred by a scrap breaking out right by us. There had been some back and forth between sets of drunken youths but one particular Worcs fan seemed to be particularly provocative and it finally kicked off with a couple of overs to go. People piling over the seats, stewards trying to get in between them and lots of beer thrown and spilt. My mate ended up with someone else’s blood down his arm as he’d tried to pull him out of the melee but I escaped with just beer down the back of my T-shirt.

Whereabouts in the ground was that Chris?  I was in the Stanley Barnes and saw a couple of people getting dragged out of the Hollies.

The usual assorted Villa obsessives that this fixture draws out made themselves heard again, but to be fair the Villa fans in attendance gave it then back.

Cracking performance by the Bears last night! Looks like the Noses fancy themselves as cricket ultras at the back of the Eric Hollies with that SOTV nonsense.Plenty stood up with HEITS in response - refrained from My Old Man in polite company

Right hand side of the Hollies. I was with a couple of former work colleagues, both originally from up north so they were bemused by the football stuff.

There were a few evicted at regular intervals as their inability to hold their beer got the better of them. After the scrap, which was mostly teens and twenty something lads, there were a number of older blokes who really should have known better having to be restrained by stewards.

Thought there seemed a lot more stewards in the Hollies last night and they were a lot quicker to react than usual.  I wouldn't normally sit anywhere near the Hollies if I can help it for the kind of reasons you explain, but it was a club trip last night and they put us there.
