Would be great news if true…doesn’t seem to have caught on anywhere else in the world…thankfully!Need competitive Championship cricket in the summer months not April or September…give a bit of chance to find a couple of decent openers!I wonder in the long run whether 50 over cricket will die a death both internationally and domestically as most of the cricket playing world it’s not hugely supported….particularly with the women’s cricket getting better maybe t20 double headers might be more attractive to the paying public and broadcasters than a 50 over game?
