The good news is he passed it.

The bad news is it was the same medical expert who examined Ivo.

Great signing, I believe this will be Smith's best signing. Technically he's very, very good, he has a great mindset and strong character. As mentioned also another player with leadership qualities. I genuinely think this is the best GK we will have ever had down at Villa Park.

Oh bold statement ! Rimmer or Bosnich would take some beating.

Has this been confirmed, yet? If so, we still have Steer, Kalinic and Nyland on our books.

How dare you insult Peter Enckelman like that.

We’ve had a dearth of really good keepers since Bosnich. A lot of OK ones but friedel probably the only really good one and he was way past his best by the time he got here.

I’m presuming Jed got a new contract with a view to him being number two for now but with a plan to train him up to succeed Heaton and a chance to be number one if he improves or Heaton goes off the boil.

Interesting that no one is rating our England keeper David James in this debate. He scared the life out of me at every corner.

I thought Sorenson was one of our better ones during his time here. Him and Friedel aside, since Bozzie we've had lots of dross between the sticks really.
