£15 million for Marvelous - that proves that Newcastle have more money than sense

How’s that? That would be a steal. A very underrated player.

Showed the required spirit and some lovely interceptions and tackling if not the quality in playing passes including playing it out for a throw in trying to pass back to Cash when Marv started a run with the ball?!
Puzzling but I've decided he's a poundland version of Kante
Just a trier but nothing special. Had energy though and one of better players although really weak footballing ability.

Was fouled for sure and even Fornals could have gone but look at the antics he did.
I mean marvelous roll on

One superb scything tackle similar to the thunderbastard tackle he did against Man City in the League Cup final. Other than that, lots of very crap passing and not much good play. Him against the West Ham midfield was a total mismatch.

His play acting was embarrassing

It's probably the worst I've seen for a few years in terms of amounts of rolls. He even chucked in a pike

It was a salmon leap according to my angling amigo.

He had a good spell, but was mostly absent.

Looking at the team formations on Google, West Ham played 4-2-3-1. 2 holding midfield players. Ours was Marvelous, who's not going to holding much at the end of the day.

I've just watched kante goal v Leicester. I also considered marvellous to be our version of kante, think we'll ever see him score a goal like that?

He did well to start the move for our first goal today.
