Thought he was really good on Saturday.  I appreciate he's no world beater, but when on form he does a really decent job for us.  I reckon if people saw a highlights reel a lot would be saying he's exactly what we need!

I think Nakamba's improvement is further proof as to just how shit 4-2-3-1 is. Nobody looks good in it, nobody.

During the Euros in the summer, some top former international player made the comment (about playing both Phillips and Rice) that as defensive midfielder you prefer to own the role and playing with two only confuses the issue.

Hear hear.

Always feel a little tentative when he comes on but he was absolutely solid on Saturday.
Marvellous in fact!

The only teams that should be playing 4231 consistently are ones with a genuine destroyer alongside a Pirlo-style genius or teams that dominate the ball so much that they can play 2 box-to-box players behind a genuine 10 (as Man City do). Far most teams 4141 or some variant of that will be more effective.

I think it's the same for Ollie up top.

What a humble & decent young man his Twitter apology shows him to be, compare and contrast with pocket tweets of AMG Mercedes cars.

Excellent again last night. I'm not convinced that if we'd gone and spunked 40m on a DM in the summer they would have performed much better than Marv has so far this season. If he carries on like this we need to think about a new contract for him.

Nakamba has to be back of the queue for penalties as he's just not got ability to strike a ball to score a goal.
Has uses but certainly no El Goalzi from the spot.

I really don't rate this guy kicking a football ability but do feel he adds , in certain games  and circumstances,  quality of some protective shield and tackling (although varied) ability

If we could find an upgrade for a footballer who can play and sit in pivot that wouldn't be marvellous it would be even better.

£15 million for Marvelous - that proves that Newcastle have more money than sense

Cant see them being interested in any player until they get a DOF and a new manager
