I think Nakamba will be playing Wednesday v Man City makes sense to have him in a disruptive and combative influence in the middle

This is not the player I recognise.

Marv is too careless on the ball, he frequently makes poor mistakes even when attempting fairly simple passes. I don’t know if that’s because he plays so few games, or he plays so few games because of this failing. But he rarely has a good game.

So... looked much better in the last two games.  As with some of our other signings looking much more comfortable in the PL now.  Is he a keeper?  Or, was this just a flash in the pan?

I think there's enough there to at least give him another season.  McGinn obviously relishes

He's SO good when we're under pressure, I lost count today the number of times he won the ball, got an interception or a toe on the ball to prevent Chelsea making progress - we definitely look a more solid defensive unit when he plays.

If he was a bit better on the ball he'd easily be a £50m player, which is probably why he doesn't make the first-11 in games where we're likely to spend more time on the front foot.

I like him a lot, and he definitely has a part to play in our squad next season (unless we can find the money to replace him with someone who can do what he does AND has composure when in possession - which is a big ask)

That's exactly what I've been thinking this afternoon.

That highlights the need for a quality defensive midfielder in summer.

Done well the last couple of games, i suspect we will be spending heavily in the Summer on a Nakamba/Luiz hybrid.

The last day of his second season and he finally emulated Nigel Reo Coker. Marvellous.

Edouard Camavinga. He's apparently told Arsenal no because he wants European football, but really it's because they're shite and he's too polite to say.

£50m should get it done.

THIS, ALL DAY LONG!!  Marvellous had a great game today and might yet become that player but this is the area to be addressed first for me.
