Which one literally passed the ball to Aguero last Sunday and basically said there you go mate on your way to a hat trick

or are we just pretending these things never happened

Not sure what point you're making?

you saying they haven’t let themselves down after one of the most inept defensive performances culminating in one of them giving Aguero an easy assist

What game are you watching because they were woeful as were the rest of them

Not even on the bench. I don't get DS - is he only picking players based on friendship? Drinkwater starts?

Hasn't looked the same player since picking up an injury at Norwich. Prior to that he was excellent.

Will come good again.

Training ground bust up weeks ago and we are trying to find a centre back to let him go aparently.

Terry blamed him for a goal and he blamed the formation which smith took offence to and dropped him and hes not has a sniff since. If vida comes Engles goes.

Fucking hell!

There's a bit of O'Neill in Smith then eh. Would have thought him more forgiving myself. Particularly when we're not blessed with quality in depth.

I was really encouraged by Engels early on, but I think teams have now sussed his lack of pace on the turn which makes him a liability.
A half fit Chester looked a better option than him against Fulham unfortunately. Hopefully he's being hampered by an injury and will recover some pace, but if not then he needs replacing quickly. Premier League brutally exposes any shortcomings.

Surely to make that kind of assessment you'd need to know exactly what the alleged training ground bust-up consisted of?

Training ground disagreements happen all the time. He's been sick and injured. If Kodjia got on the bench while he was completely out of favour then Engels if healthy would get in ahead of Chester.
