It depends as well when the club are expecting players back. We have no idea when Ty, Emi, JJ and Kamara will be back ready for 1st team games, and sadly, if they all ever will be. If none of them are close then that changes things.

Italian media reckon that Juventus have a 60%-70% sell on clause for Iling-Junior & Barrenechea.

If that is true, then I just have no words...

It's only June 21, but may as well file this transfer window under 'Disastrous' like the previous three. :(

You can't believe a word the Italian media say, especially regarding Juventus. Making a demand like that would blow the deal.

Probably bullshit to placate their fans

I think it offers evidence that they also rate the player and are not that pleased to lose him.

There are ways of looking at that sort of sell-in clause, though.  It could be that 60% of the "profit" above what we pay is much more palatable.  Still not great, but basically means they only profit if we sell THEM at a profit.

Either way, I hope that 60-70% figure is BS, and I strongly suspect it is.

If you have that sort of arrangement and the player enters the last 1-2 years of the contract, you're more likely to let it run down if he's doing well but refusing to sign a new deal.

I've never heard of a sell-on that high.

I'm surprised Juventus haven't said we need to throw in Martinez as well. Cheeky skint pricks.

It’s got to be nonsense. They’re driving this because they want Doug, there’s no chance we’d accept a clause of that nature.

A clause that high seems totally unrealistic. It's practically a loan rather than a purchase.

Italian media also reporting that Elizabeth Olsen asked CDBF out on a date, but he said "no, not unless she pays for the meal."
