Played 74 mins for Brazil tonight in their 3-2 win against Mexico in Texas. Just the 102k capacity for the college stadium.

The Mirror reporting we've told Arsenal that they need to stump-up £50m for him. Likely bollocks but I do worry that he has a release clause in his contract.

I just saw that and was thinking that sounds a bit low? I know things have changed since last summer but the price players like Caicedo went for makes me think we should be getting more than that for Dougie.

It could be £50m. His contract was signed when Gerrard was still manager and Arsenal had been offering around the £20m mark in that summer window. So a clause of more than double that is possible. And let's not forget, they were more than a couple that wanted us to sell him at the time.

Contracts signed in that sort of situation, I just expect to have a release clause in them, I reckon it's probably quite normal now. It's better than them leaving for nowt.

Saw the same thing on BBC gossip page just below Broja from Chelsea to Everton for £30m. Not that Everton have got the money but the two valuations are way out considering the players involved.

Chelsea are slapping stupid price tags on all their players. They'll end up not shifting any of them.

Not when players of a similar level to him went for £100m last summer.

Yeah but the days of Chelsea over-paying appear over.

As much as i would like Gallagher if i had to take one of theirs it would be a fully fit Reece James.

Would teach Chelsea a lesson if no one bought any of their players - but i doubt the FA would have the minerals to actually punish them under FFP or whatever.

A fully fit Reece James must be an oxymoron.

£50m is a joke of a valuation for Luiz.  I think prices will come down this summer and there's only a small handful of clubs who can pay the big fees, but even so £50m is an insult.
