Probably just a coincidence but, hasn’t played very well since Alisha came on the scene. Nowadays, he seems to want to prove what a hard man he is and get booked each match rather than concentrating on his undoubted skills.

It’s obviously because he’s needing to do a different role because Kamara is out. The frustration is there because he can’t do what he’s best at.

He does need to focus on his actual game rather than getting all niggly. He was excellent but his form has dropped off a cliff recently.

He has been niggly all season. He was the only player in the team to get the one match ban for accumulated yellows and followed that up with the only one to get two match ban as well when he only had seconds left.

He's been booked 14 times this season, 7 with Kamara in the team, 7 without.

Out of interest how many games has he played with Kamara vs without?

Top players adapt to circumstances and changes in line ups. He's not in the top category for me . Very disappointing of late when we've needed him to step up .

You do seem to jump to sweeping, definitive, conclusions on players. He’s been out of form, playing a role that isn’t his natural role, but why is his form now more indicative of the player he is than the exceptional, hugely influential form he’s delivered for a much larger chunk of the season.

He’s been absolutely vital in getting us to where we are, just because he’s not doing great now doesn’t speak to some underlying issue with him.

It isn't Tielemans role, but the two matches when it was McGinn and Tielemans in there, we looked a whole lot better then the ones where it was McGinn and Luiz or Tielemans and Luiz.

It did, but it’s an incredibly small sample size so it’s hard to make a definitive judgement.

But best when we had Luiz and Kamara in there, which is my main issue with us not trying the most similar player to Kamara, Tim.

Our best football, for the most part, has been with Doug in the side. He’s in a poor patch of form, but I think he deserves a bit of latitude given the level he has performed at for a good chunk of the season. I’m pretty sure if we trawled back every single one of the midfield has been called out for underperforming for a period this season. Doug is one of the best centre mid’s in the league and deserves backing.

Tielemans is on another level to Luiz though . Luiz needs to learn from YT and try and reach his levels .
