Yes it's interesting he's been the best midfielder goalscorer season for us in the last 30 or so years.

Not his greatest game this evening. Gave away possession for the first goal and was in danger getting himself sent off.

We played better without him. No doubt he’s had a good input this year, but if we do need to raise funds and can get a good fee for him, he’s maybe the one to sacrifice

I wouldn't have started him tonight. Tielemans and SJM were superb in his absennse

He seems hellbent on being sent off at the moment.  Needs to get his attitude sorted for the next game.

It's killing his game at the moment.

I think he’s frustrated at his level of performance- definitely not clicking. I think he’s a brilliant player, and has been massive for us this season, but he’s been flat in his last few performances and absolutely terrible tonight. He’ll come out of it, but ideally that’ll start Thursday and continue through to the end of the season, because with Tielemans presumably out for the foreseeable we need him.

I don’t want us to have to sell any of our best players for PSR reasons this summer, but if we do, I think Dougie would be the one I’d sell. And that’s not a reaction to today’s game, I haven’t seen it.

If Arsenal offered us 90m I’d take it.

Was poor in the games prior to his suspension. Tonight pretty much mirrored.

He’s a very good player but that was a 3/10 performance. Emery properly did his nut after the goal, and then when Doug miscontrolled the ball in a good attack that was the final straw and he was off.

I’d sell JJ before him (appreciate we wouldn’t get 90m). When Doug is on he’s elite level, but he does need someone doing more of the defensive work.

I've been wanting McGinn in the middle but maybe this whole time it was just because Luiz has been playing quite poorly? If Youri were to be fit then I think he deserves a stay out of the team.
