It’s players who decide if they want to be transferred, then someone has to meet, beat or get near to the clubs valuation. Unless the player acts up of course. Which I don’t see happening with the players mentioned.

An article about Vidagany suggested that each summer he gives the players - or their agents - a number where the club would consider selling.
I can’t remember the specifics but it sounded like standard practice, developed to improve communication/expectations.

It's taken Douglas is back in the starting 11 but I wonder if Tielemans, Bailey, Diaby or Rogers steps out? Or even McGinn!

Is it taken?  Highly doubt Rogers will be dropped from that left side position, so I imagine it will be one of Tielemans, McGinn or Diaby.  Would be a tough call on any of those three after Sunday.

For a while there it looked like Rogers wasn't quite a 90 minute player yet. He wasn't supposed to be on as early against Lille as he was, and then he ended up playing most of that and all of Sunday's game.

Between now and the end of the season, or at least us securing 4th/CL final, I think who starts and who doesn't might come down to managing fitness more than playing the most inform players all the time.

Great position to be in, discussing whether we should start a 100m player or not!!

Unai always has a game plan and in his mind the finishing X1 is equally as important as the starting X1.

A good way of keeping all players happy and on their toes.

If Bailey is carrying a knock I’d bring Doug back in and shift the Moose wide, Youri forwards.

No way Doug doesn’t start. He will replace Bailey who by all accounts is much more injured than he’s showing. We need a very solid CM group and if we need Bailey have come in later in the game. Ideally we don’t need him at all.

All Douglas goals in the Prem this season have been scored at Villa Park.
Including 4 penalties its 9 goals and that's as many as Watkins at Villa Park

If Douglas can get 10+ goals with two more home games to go, that's the first time in 30+ years for a midfielder to score double figures in a season since David Platt! Gareth Barry and Gary Parker came closest , but there has not been a 10-plus goal-scoring midfielder for some time.

Pressure on Luiz if he starts . We've been doing well without him. Be interesting if he returns and the sluggish pace returns .

Luiz is a main stay. Class act.
He has to start as main set piece taker and penalty taker and goal threat!
Offering goals and assists and takes the ball from the defence very well.
